My journey as an artist began in a rather unlikely place – as the seventh of fifteen children in a chaotic household. At age five, I discovered my sanctuary in the world of colors communicating with one another. That early fascination has evolved into a career dedicated to creating work that springs from the soul and resonates with others.
My approach to art is deeply informed by my background in psychology and art
therapy. I spent nearly a decade in the psychiatric field before returning to my first
love - art. This foundation strengthens my belief in art's therapeutic power and its
role in emotional and psychological healing. At its core, art is communication, and
I'm fascinated by the interplay between artwork, viewer, and space, particularly
how colors can evoke profound emotional responses.

For the past twenty years, I've focused on mastering verre églomisé, an ancient technique that continues to captivate me with its possibilities. Working on transparent surfaces, I apply multiple layers with palette knife and brush in reverse, creating intricate compositions where each stroke becomes permanent. While honoring this traditional process, I've developed my own methods through years of intimate dialogue with various mediums, dancing between tradition and innovation.
